You can recognize the half-linen by the yarn thickening in only one direction of the fabric. The cotton makes the fabric softer and more supple, so it's not quite as stubborn, but a little firmer. Linen is particularly durable and makes your table linen robust. In addition, it is less susceptible to dirt and absorbs water very well.
