You're finally here - our organic sheep wool carpets for the environmentally conscious! The wool comes from Austria and France and has SGS and ECO CERT certificates. With the organic sheep wool carpets, strict attention is paid to the fact that the sheep come exclusively from organic farming. From the feed to the stall, animal welfare is paramount! Your bio friend carpet is available fulled and unfulled.

Mulesing is the removal of the skin around the tails of sheep without pain relief. It is a common procedure to prevent infestation with fly maggots (myiasis). Our sheep's wool is definitely mulesing-free.

In your order please write your desired sizes (breadth x length) and tell us if you would like to have fringes or not. Fringes are not included in the length.

Characteristics of the carpet
Because the carpet is handmade, the size can be 3 cm bigger or smaller.
We can deliver our carpets with breadth between 50 cm and 400 cm in every length without extra charge within 3 weeks. Also, individual desires concerning the color and the shape (round, oval, octagonal) can be taken into consideration.


Special wishes
Carpets from Jordan are handwoven in Tirol and the wool is spun in-house. The sheep wool carpet is produced in unique high-quality and therefore it is very robust and hard-wearing. Because of its high weight, the rug lays very well on the floor. If you compare our products with products from other manufacturers, you will see the difference in quality. The carpet is available with fringes or without. The fringes are not included in the length. If you order the carpet without fringes, a small border in the same color as the carpet will be sewed on.

Care
The sheep wool carpets can easily be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. They should get turned around 3-4 times per year. Dirt smudges can be washed out with curd soap or detergent for wool. You also can clean the carpet chemical if the carpet is very dirty.
