The Kremstaler down quilt comes from the Kremstal. The down comes from happy willow geese from Nussbach in Upper Austria. The free-ranging geese are slaughtered as martini goose (a traditional Austrian food), while the fine down comes as a byproduct.

The fine down is sorted by hand and quilted by the weaving mill Kauffmann in Vorarlberg. The cover is made of 100% fine cotton batiste. Cuddle in the pleasantly soft and baggy quilt.

The down bedding is Daunasan certified. Daunasan certifies products that have to reach hard requirements on hygiene and cleanness, according to the European norm DIN EN 12935.

 

Additionally is this down bedding NOMITE certified. NOMITE certified products are suitable for people who suffer from house dust mite allergies.

The general filling weight is 270 g/sqm.
The winter quilt is quilted in 6x8 squares and has a 4 cm high stay for additional insulation of heat.

Care instructions for the down products:
- Shake up daily
Shake up the down products daily to ease the filling.
- Air regulary
Ventilate the down quilts and pillows outdoor periodically. Avoid the sun, the fog and the rain. - Do not knock or suck
Do not use a knocker or vacuum cleaner as this will damage the fine pore tissue.
- Washability
You can wash the down products in the washing machine and then dry them in the dryer to ease the down. You can wash thin down quilts and pillows without hesitation in commercial washing machines. For a filling weight above 650 g we advise against washing in a household washing machine with a capacity of 7-9 kg and recommend the laundry.
